MKE Launches the “MK7” Neighborhood Development in Downtown Düsseldorf with Over 20,800 m² of Gross Floor Area

MKE Munich Investment announces the launch of the “MK7” project development on Moskauer Straße in Düsseldorf. On the approximately 5,100 m² lot in a central downtown location—just a few minutes’ walk from the main train station—a mixed-use neighborhood is being built with approximately 200 subsidized residential units and approximately 100 long-term care beds on a total gross floor area of approximately 20,800 m². This makes MK7 one of the largest current new construction projects in the subsidized housing and long-term care segment in the state capital.

The development plan brings together urgently needed social infrastructure under one roof: approximately 100 housing units for trainees, up to 100 publicly subsidized rental apartments, and a full-service long-term care facility with approximately 100 beds.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with a Luxembourg-based family office. The Luxembourg-based company beonti S.A. played a central role in the implementation: It provided advisory support on structuring the transaction from the outset and, with its expertise, contributed significantly to the successful establishment of the partnership.
